Honestly, I'm a bit disappointed in the second book in the Spindle Cove series, A Week to Be Wicked. I found the circumstances and situations a tad bit too unbelievable. The trope: the handsome, womanizing rake and the shy, bookish bluestocking, is, while a bit overused, still one of my favorites.

However the story, and romance, at times felt a bit forced, and slow moving. While I did enjoy the book, I don’t think it’s as good as A Night to Surrender; I just didn't get sucked into the story the way I did the first book.

But I will definitely read on in this series.
