Cress - Marissa Meyer Third book in the series is the retelling of Rapunzel who is imprisoned in a satellite. Cress is rather naïve and innocent and as such is very different from the previous heroines in this series, but she is completely understandable as she was imprisoned most of her life with next to no human contact. With her huge crush on Thorne and her being a damsel in distress in the beginning of the book waiting to be rescued, I was prepared to be disappointed. But…I loved this book and Cress’s story. She is a sweet character who grows throughout the story and by the end of the book she’s completely capable taking care of herself.
I can hardly wait for Winter's story.
