Kindle Freebie. Lucy is a strong, intelligent woman who wants to be a vet. While it's refreshing to read a historical romance with an ambitious woman, I strongly doubt the circumstances in this book; it’s just not believable that in that time and age a noble woman would be aloud such freedoms. That being said, it was a quick and easy read. The writing was lacking, there was a lot of POV shifting, which is terribly annoying.
